What Fairfax has to say about this model, the Petite Dressage:

Especially for the petite or young competitive rider on a pony or small horse.

    • A small moveable thigh block which can be re-positioned to provide superior support for the rider’s leg
    • Move or even change the block to suit the rider’s leg position
    • The addition of deep cushioning and ghost stitching on the knee pad means the support is softer and more accommodating for a variety of leg lengths and sizes
    • Neat and compact mid-depth seat to align and support the rider in the optimum dressage position
    • Super-soft full grain hide on the seat and knee pad

    Girthing Options

Fairfax Classic Dressage saddles have three billets. The saddle fitter has the option to remove the third one if it is not needed, or simply tuck it into the keeper on the girth.

Begin with neutral position – 2nd and 3rd billet

If the saddle slips forward the saddle fitter will use the 1st and 3rd billet

NEVER girth using the 1st and 2nd billet together – it will cause saddle instability
